The lovely people at Savant Naturals were very kind in sending  a box of each of their 3 bar flavors to try. I had been trying to get them at my local Rite Aid for a while with no luck so when they generously offered to send these of course, I jumped at the chance.

So a little background. These bars are a product of Canada but you can find them in Rite Aid store’s and also online via Amazon and the Savant Naturals website. These bars were created by a team with a great vision of bringing the best tasting, high quality products to their customers.

These bars come in 3 flavors and contain no artificial Sweeteners, Flavors or colors and are Gluten Free.

The 3 flavors are:
– Salted Caramel
– Vanilla Dream
-Chocolate

Each 43g bar has very similar Nutritional content:
Calories: 150/ Fat Calories: 45 – 50
Protein: 15g
Carbs: 18g
Fat: 5g
Fiber: 6 – 7g

Appearance:
Very aesthetic, a simple ”Rice Crispy” bar with flavored coating.

Smell:
I found the smell of these to be very light and mildly distinctive.

Taste:
There is no weird ”Protein-y’ taste like you would find in many protein bars and I honestly would not have guessed that they contained 15g of Protein per bar had I not read the box beforehand. The individual flavors are prominent but not overpowering and really do taste just like a Dessert bar.

Texture:
Crispy and Chewy while also being quite soft.

Overall Thoughts:
I really like these and can see myself purchasing more in the future adding them to my ”healthy snack” arsenal. If you’re looking for something with a little extra protein while also being more of a Dessert or treat then I highly recommend these.
